& synthesis session
Strategic retreats focused on your behavioral bottom line.
Imagine if everyone truly “got it.” Picture you and your allies united behind concepts you conceived together, executing a strategy focused on real change.
That’s the goal of our Rapid Marketing Review and Synthesis Session. Using our unique re-framing methodology, we review current programs, re-examine existing data, poll participants, interview leaders, and facilitate a half-day “synthesis session” where key leaders and stakeholders refine and re–focus what they do to influence a specific set of behavioral bottom lines.
The focus is on bulding a consensus around what’s needed to achieve specific measurable goals. We help participants agree beforehand on their bottom–line objectives – change we can see. Then, we help them jointly review what they’re doing, refine their approach and agree on a strategic direction going forward. It works somewhat like a strategic retreat to clarify vision and strategy, except that our approach is designed to include stakeholders (multiple organizations) and focuses specifically on behavioral objectives for your target audience.
The session is designed for anywhere from five to 25 participants, and can include a larger group as observers. It is a process that includes:
- A quick review of your existing programs, research and audience data to map the existing approach and what’s known about the target behaviors
- An online survey of session participants to determine what consensus exists around program goals and methods
- Interviews with several key leaders or key informants
- A pre-session planning meeting with staff
- A three and half hour synthesis session facilitated by a senior leader from Salter>Mitchell
