crisis communication

In times of crisis – experience counts.

We know Florida, and we know pressure. If there’s a high profile issue in the State of Florida, you’ll find us knee-deep in it. We’ve worked our way through numerous storms, and helped our clients achieve the best possible outcomes by preparing for the worst.

Firm president April Salter Herrle cut her teeth in government crisis management. While serving for eight years as a senior state official in Florida government, April directed crisis communications for situations including hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, government scandals, food-borne illnesses, foster care, environmental issues such as underground storage tanks, the restoration of the Everglades, capital punishment, and the death of a sitting governor. Lisa Hall and Heidi Otway spent years on the other side of the camera, putting the pressure on.

Our team has developed and implemented crisis communications strategies to help our clients address public health threats, derail threatened takeovers, and defend corporate reputations. More importantly, we help them monitor the warning signs and respond appropriately to keep problems from building to crisis in the first place.
